Spring 2000
Cover Tom and Pat Leeson, featured in our story on nature photography couples, discovered their mutual love of wildlife photography while they were newlyweds living in a $300-a-month cabin in Yellowstone. Two decades later, they have a 10-year-old daughter, and so take turns traveling the far corners of the globe to capture images of rare animals in their natural habitats. Tom shot our cover photo of a giant panda in China.
