Image Title: Ko Win Kyaw Zan Prays at Andawthein Shrine
Category: Indigenous Cultures
-
- Technical Details: Leica M6, Noctilux 50mm lens, Fuji Provia
film, 1/30 second at f/1.0
Location: Andawthein Shrine in Mrauk U, Myanmar (Burma)
Description: I was struck by the gentleness of this quiet
ritual. I loved how the candlelight was diffused by the pungent
incense smoke hanging in the air, highlighting the stone Buddha
and carvings inside the ancient shrine.
