Photographer: David Johnson, Seattle, Washington
Image Title: Watch Your Step
Best in Category: Urban Wildlife

Technical Details: Nikon F2, 20mm lens, Kodak Tri-X 400 film
Location: San Diego, California
Description: I find it ironic that during the opening of the new gorilla exhibit at the San Diego Zoo, people were standing in this closed off area trying to view the gorillas. This photograph illustrates how humans will trample over nature in their quest to view it, as though nature is there solely for their own amusement.
